NHCIBOR Announces REALTOR and Affiliate of the Year!

NH Commercial Investment Board of REALTORS is pleased to announce and congratulate this year’s recipients:

2020 REALTOR of the Year

  Ralph Valentine
The Valentine Group

Ralph Valentine, past President NHCIBOR and NECPE 2018 is this year’s 2020 Realtor of the Year.  It is well-deserved.

Ralph Valentine, CCIM is the Managing Broker at The Valentine Group in Londonderry NH 03038, and has been working in Commercial Real Estate since 1979, Catylist Member since 2005. The Valentine Group works with all types of real estate including residential, commercial, investment, industrial and land, licensed in both NH and MA.

In 2019, Ralph coordinated the refreshing of a 21-unit plaza including exterior paint, conversion of common lighting to LED, replacement of the fire alarm system, re-sealed/re-striped the parking lot and replaced the leach field. The leach field work was tricky, making sure there was sufficient septic loading available for a couple of vacant units and future tenants.  Ralph saved his client approximately $ 75,000 by suggesting he install a raised system in an unused area of the parking lot, rather than dig up the parking lot to remove, wash and dispose of the old chambers and then replace with new chambers.  In addition to the cost savings, the plaza would have to be shut down for some time which would have hurt the tenants.

Ralph is very involved in both NHCIBOR.  Hi is chair of the Public Policy Committee, Chair of the CRE Course Task Force, member of the Catylist Contract Renewal Task Force, Listing Information Feeds to State of NH Task Force and member o the RPAC Trustees Committee for NHAR.

Ralph participates in many civic activities including Vice Chair of Sunshine Soup Kitchen, Member of the Windham Economic Development Committee Infrastructure Sub-Committee and Member “Team Billy.”

Please join us in congratulating Ralph!
