2020 Realtor of the Year: Dick DuMez
Dick DuMez, a sales associate with Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty in Hanover, was announced on Wednesday, Sept. 23, as NHAR’s 61st Realtor of the Year.
DuMez, a long-time member of NHAR’s public policy committee and the Association’s Federal Political Coordinator for Senator Maggie Hassan, received the news from NHAR President Marc Drapeau and 2018 Realtor of the Year Diana Mancuso in a surprise, live-streamed announcement at his home.
“Dick’s resume speaks for itself, but beyond that he is the ideal ambassador for our industry and our association,” Drapeau said. “He is truly a class act.”
DuMez had been slated to be the 2022 New Hampshire Association of Realtors president, but he was forced to resign from that track due to health challenges. Those concerns also compelled him to step down from his role as chair of the state association’s Realtor Political Action Committee, but he has remained in his role as a liaison to Senator Hassan and as an active Public Policy Committee member.
He was also a graduate of the first class of the NHAR Leadership Academy and served two terms on the Realtor Party Membership Involvement Committee, during which he facilitated several National Association of Realtors grants to help build the Mascoma Greenway and develop the Mascoma Lakeside Park.
Congratulations, Dick!
