Second in workforce housing video series released

As part of our effort to shed light on various facets of workforce housing in the midst of the inventory crisis, NHAR is proud to present the second in a series of videos, “Defining Workforce and Affordable Housing.”

The terms workforce housing and affordable housing are heard frequently in the midst of New Hampshire’s housing crisis, but what do they actually mean? And why does it matter? For policy makers at the state and local level, it’s important to set aside opinions and understand what the terms mean in a legal sense.

In this five-and-a-half-minute video, NHAR legal counsel Matt Johnson explores those definitions and the importance of knowing the difference between the two terms.

We ultimately hope the video is shared widely in order to encourage well-informed conversations about housing affordability and availability in New Hampshire.
