A ceremonial groundbreaking celebration was held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the future site of the River’s Edge Apartments in Laconia, NH. After months of collaboration with developers and designers, Eckman Construction will soon begin building a new 41,000 square-foot, multifamily housing complex containing 32 apartment units on Union Avenue. Developed by the Laconia Area Community Land Trust, the new apartment building will transform an abandoned downtown site into a beautiful, vibrant riverside living community.

Demolition has been completed and sitework is underway. The site for River’s Edge Apartments is located adjacent to the Winnipesaukee River.
