Abichaker Joins Eckman’s Estimating Department

Eckman Construction has hired Christine Abichaker to join the company’s estimating department. In her new position, Abichaker will assist with estimating tasks on various projects and will coordinate and interface with local area subcontractors to provide accurate cost estimates to architects and project owners.

“I have known Christine on a personal level for some time now and this is a great opportunity for her to take the next step in her career,” said Mark Walsh, President and CEO, Eckman Construction. “Christine is a great communicator and will bring a fresh perspective to our estimating department. Abichaker holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University, a leading program in the region. She most recently worked at Black & Veatch, a prestigious, internationally-recognized engineering, consulting and construction firm out of Burlington, Mass., where she served as a Civil Design Engineer.
