Northway Bank was the breakfast sponsor. Wendy Fracassi Rayno, SVP Market Manager Commercial, presented that the Bank was established in 1997 as a closely held stock bank with NH investors. Scott Forte of Century 21 Real Estate has a buyer for 1,000 sf or retail space in the Stratham/Exeter area. 

Ethan Ash of KW Commercial has buyers for development projects in Opportunity Zones. A separate set of buyers is looking for multifamily investment properties.

David Garvey of KW Commercial has a buyer (1031 exchange) looking for a $1.2 million NNN property.

Brian DuBois of DuBois Associates has a buyer for residential subdivision/development land.

Jay Lee of BHHS Verani Realty is looking for retail development or redevelopment sites; gas station, strip mall centers, and flex spaces; sites up to 20 million.

Ryan Theil of A1 Exterminators has a buyer for a 2,000 sf deli space in Stratham and second investor for a 4-6-unit residential property. This property can only be located in Dover.

Abigail Morneault of Colliers International has a buyer for a 2,000-sf kitchen and 2,000 sf event space venue in the Seacoast area.

Joe Friedman of Brooks Properties has a buyer for a 50,000 – 100,000 sf industrial development site in the I-93 corridor.

Jason Clark of Century 21 Atlantic has a buyer for storage facilities in Maine and NH.

Rick Desoto of KW Commercial has 3 buyers for restaurants.

Andy Ward of Colliers International has a buyer for a small self-storage facility in Kennebunk or the Seacoast area. Prefers to buy small existing facility and expand.

Lisa Reehl of KW Commercial has a buyer for multifamily properties.

Jim Gove of GES Inc. let the group know the new budget includes the doubling of permitting fees for alteration of terrain permits.

Dan Barufaldi of Dover Economic Development informed attendees that the 475 unit Dover waterfront project is scheduled to close next week. It’s expected to take up to 8 years to fully complete.

Bryan Wright of Colliers International has a buyer for retail assets. Investment up to $7 million.

John Kelley of John H Kelley, Broker of RE, LLC has a buyer for a small shopping plaza (up to $4 million) in NH or MA.

Bob Marchewka of One Commercial Real Estate has a buyer for a smaller retail building in NH/ME for up to $500,000.

Wendy Fracassi Rayno of Northway Bank has 2 customers. One is looking for existing self-storage in Maine, the other for a 4-8 unit residential in Exeter with maximum cost of $1 million.

David Choate of Colliers International has a buyer looking for at least 2,500 sf of first class office space to buy in the greater Portsmouth area.

The statewide NHCIBOR marketing meeting occurs on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 9:00 to 10:15 at 166 South River Road in Bedford. The next meeting will be held September 25, 2019.

The NH Association of Realtors held its annual awards dinner a couple of days ago. The event

was well attended and CIBOR’s Tom Riley was named “Realtor of the Year” and CIBOR’s Jeff Bouffard was named “Affiliate of the Year”.  Congratulations to both!

Tad Dziemian informed the attendees that Senate Bill 286 was signed into law on August 2nd that allows Municipal Aggregation for electric supply.  It takes effect on October 1st, 2019 and it allows municipalities to combine the purchasing power of its residents and businesses so that they can provide an alternative electricity supply. It is a valuable initiative that the towns can offer residents and small businesses.  It has proven to be the most effective way to help small consumers manage their electricity bills, and has received overwhelming support in Massachusetts since it started in 1997

Scott Forte of Century 21 Real Estate is listing a gas station in Newmarket. It has a 3 BR apartment on top of a convenience store. Asking price is $640,000.

Ethan Ash of KW Commercial is listing a retail site at 1132 Route 1 in York, ME.  8 condos for $1.2 million.  Adjacent to the property is land with an approved pad that will be sold for $350,000.

David Garvey of KW Commercial is listing a 62,000 usable square foot property in Gilford.

Russ Doyle of Two International Group has 4 units at 100 International at Pease. Units are different sizes and lease for $17.50 NNN.

Brian DuBois of DuBois Associates has a 4 unit retail office in Greenland for lease.

Andy Ward of Colliers International has reduced the price on a fully leased 18-unit commercial in Bangor, ME. Great for a 1031 exchange. 8.5 CAP rate with price reduction.

Jay Comstock of Real Property Management has 4 retail office spaces in Rochester to lease. One is a 4,500-sf unit with cooler; another one has 3,200 sf.

Michelle Sullivan of the Gove Group has 1.4-acre property (bike shop) listed for $648,000.

Lisa Reehl of KW Commercial has 4 parcels of land at Rochester Crossings, right across from a large, new residential development. Total land is 8.4 acres.

Chris Soutter with the Town of Durham noted that industrial space is for lease at the Goss Building; a medical office ($12/sf), several retail spaces; and upper floor office space.

Andrew Robbins of Colliers International has a 3,682 sf industrial condo in Hooksett with some high bay space for $695,000.

Jim Gove of GES Inc. recommended to not create any ruts when clearing a property ahead of DES approvals.

Lisa Reehl of KW Commercial has a wedding barn with inn (needs love) listed in Eliot, ME. $378,000.

Art Bonin of AR Bonin Companies, LLC has 8,000 sf in Plaistow for $525,000. The property was built as a motorcycle garage with 4 service bays.

David Choate of Colliers International has a mobile auto restoration business looking to buy a property in the Kingston area. Around 2,500 sf for up to $425,000.
