Doors can function as a ‘communication system’ and door position is a communicator of socializing intent. For example, holding the door is a particular sign of respect. A door that is intentionally left open is seen as a gesture of hospitality, or an invitation. Whereas the term ‘open house’ describes an exception to the rule: Most of the time the building is closed, but upon certain occasions the door is left open. Open doors or closed doors, Alpha Locksmith can help you make your statement with locks and keys that work. 603-489-3622”
