We teach people how money works, because we believe a solid financial knowledge foundation is the key to making healthy money choices. We pioneered the “Buy Term and Invest the Difference” philosophy – a crusade which revolutionized the life insurance industry and the investment business. And from the beginning, we have only offered term life insurance as part of our commitment to only market products that are right for the consumer, a philosophy we still apply to our solutions today.

Marie Degulis, Secondwind Water, Marie has worked at Secondwind since September of 2010. I came in and trained to become a Certified Water Specialist. I then used those skills in my business development efforts beginning in 2012. Now I am the company’s Business Developer. At Secondwind, my current role is to connect businesses and people to water treatment resources, solutions and services. I belong to several trade organizations: residential building, commercial building, hospital facility management, and 2 realtor boards. Building relationships across different lines. It also allows our business partners a greater understanding of where we can support their clients’ opportunities. Water touches just about everything at some point, and when the water quality isn’t what we need it to be, unhealthy, hard, acidic, etc., it can affect our health, the health of our homes and buildings, and the health of many manufacturing processes. I teach Continuing Education Classes (CEU classes) for realtors and home inspectors that review the concepts of water quality and that provide a greater understanding of where water quality matters.
