Multi-factor authentication begins July 23rd

At Moody’s, security is a top priority. We are committed to taking the necessary steps to protect our customers’ sensitive information with the same diligence we use to protect our own data.  This is why we are adding multi-factor authentication (MFA) to your Moody’s account login effective July 23, 2025.

You will use the same credentials to login to your Moody’s account as you use today.  After providing your username and password, you will receive an email containing a unique authentication code from Moody’s.  Simply input this code into the verification prompt on your login screen to complete your login access.

This added layer of security helps us to prevent unauthorized access to your account and to keep your sensitive information safe. This should also eliminate any password sharing.  If you have any questions about the upcoming multi-factor authentication process, please refer to our FAQ Guide (attached).

Please note that if you use an authenticator app for login management, authenticator applications are compatible with Moody’s MFA process.
