For the first time since January, NH residential home sales increase

After five consecutive months of declining unit sales in the New Hampshire residential housing market, July 2020 witnessed a 6.4 percent increase over sales in July 2019. The 2,012 residential sales is the most in New Hampshire’s recorded history for the month, and it coincides with the state’s highest July median price ever, at $340,000.

Also of note in the NHAR’s July “Monthly Indicators” report:

  • Dollar volume of closed sales increased by 22 percent.
  • Pending sales increased by 19 percent.
  • Months’ supply decreased by 55 percent.
  • Homes for sales decreased by 54 percent.
