Dr. Melissa Kennell & Dr. Matthew Smith of Children’s Dentistry of the North Country have recently completed the purchase of a medical building located on 81 Bethlehem Road in Littleton. The building had formerly been home to the business medical practice of Littleton Orthopaedics and the late Dr. Lon Howard.
Dr. Kennell said, “We know that seeing a dentist can be a positive and fun experience, and we create environments in all of our locations to do just that. For us, we saw a need for our services in the greater Littleton area, and knew this location and space would be just perfect for the office that we will be creating.” She added, “We will be actively remodeling the space over the next few months and expect to be seeing new and existing patients by summer.”
For the Howard family, to see a medical facility in the space that Dr. Howard and Littleton Orthopaedics once practiced at, is a fitting transition. “Littleton Orthopaedics was always a labor of love for my husband. He would be very pleased to know his office building will continue to house a medical facility and serve the people of the North Country. I wish Dr. Kennell and Dr. Smith all the best in their new endeavor of expanding quality dental care for children above the notch.”

The pediatric dental practice is focused on treating patients from infants to adolescents, and have rooms and services set up especially for each age group.
