New Septic Law Explained - HB1415

June 27th, 2012

House Bill 1415 was NHAR-prompted legislation.

Governor Lynch has signed into a law a bill championed by NHAR creating a new permit-by-rule process for the replacement of septic systems. The new law should cut down on costs while speeding up the permitting process. Text of the entire law can be found here.   Go to http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/legislation/2012/HB1415.html for a brief overview of the new law.

For more information or to download forms, please visit the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Subsurface Systems Bureau website at http://des.nh.gov/organization/divisions/water/ssb/index.htm or call them at 271-3501.
