NH CIBOR Green Series

March 5th, 2010

Be sure to mark your calendar to attend the NH CIBOR Green Series to be held Thursday, March 11th at PSNH in Manchester.

Next week the NH CIBOR Green series is taking a slightly different twist to our subject matter by taking a unique look at sustainability in the world of municipalities!

We are pleased to welcome Mathew Walsh, Assistant for Special Projects for the City of Concord. Mathew’s presentation will focus on the tools the city uses to leverage economic development projects (RSA 79-E, Tax Increment Financing, etc.), historical case studies, and upcoming projects. Discussion will also be geared towards the LEED's, Brownfield's, & energy conservation efforts the City of Concord has and continues to make.

Mathew has been with the City of Concord since 2001.  His responsibilities include creating and managing complex public/private partnerships in order to facilitate real estate development, managing complex public sector projects, administration of the cities revolving loan program, as well as preparation of the City’s capital budget.  He also serves on the NH Dept. of Environmental Science Brownfield's committee, Community Development Finance Authority, Community Development Block Grant Advisory committee, Board of Main Street Concord Inc., and Steering Committee of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network.

Come join us and gain an understanding about what our towns and cities are either doing or can do to make our communities a better place to live and work!
